*MediHelp: This is the facility that cruise ships turn to if one of their passengers needs medical help, so they are used to dealing with international patients and have English-speaking staff. Contact information here. Located in Bocagrande, Carrera 6a, #5 – 101.
*Nuevo Hospital Bocagrande: located in Bocagrande/Castillogrande; Calle 5, 6-49 They have a plan for foreign tourists so you are likely to find English speaking help here.
*Hospital Naval de Cartagena, located near the entrance to Bocagrande at Carrera 2, 14-10; has a hyperbaric chamber
*Hospital Serena del Mar, located about 15 minutes to the northeast (on the road to Barranquilla) comes recommended by many expats
*Dr Rafael Andrade is recommended by other expats as an English-speaking doctor who does phone consultations & housecalls.

Dental resources: Many expats in Cartagena recommend English speaking Dr Fanny Valera (located very close to Casa Barbara on Calle Real); Dr Liliana Urrego and Dr. Rodriguez, who speak English and have offices in the Matuna area (between Centro & Getsemaní); and Dr Julio Oliver in Bocagrande.
