Casa Barbara | Vacation Rentals in Cartagena

Casa Barbara is a quiet, relaxing beachfront, furnished, two bedroom/2.5 bath modern apartment with AC, hot water, wifi & balcony — perfect for two couples, a couple of friends, or a small family (sleeps up to four; no children under age 12 please)! It is my home when in Cartagena but available for longer term (one month minimum) visitors when I am not in town. A great place to stay if you are a digital nomad, escaping the winter, taking a Spanish course in a local school, or just want a relaxing place to stay in a beautiful place!

Located just a short walk to the Old City in the Cabrero neighborhood, the apartment is on the 15th floor with a balcony that goes the length of the apartment. You’ll love watching the sun set each evening over the Caribbean! You also have a great view north to the Marbella/Crespo area of the coast and beyond, as well as a sneak peak from the balcony at the part of the Old City wall called “La Tenaza.” There are windows in the back of the apartment that give you a view of the Popa, the highest point in Cartagena, as well as the Castillo San Felipe.

The building was built in 2010 and has 24 hour reception, two elevators, and a pool (15 meters x 4 meters), jacuzzi, sauna, & social area on the 7th floor.
